Finally Another reached its end in eps 12. I watched last night, around 9.30pm. But it's not as horror as some eps before, so it's fine to watch it above 9pm. Yesterday I was so looking forward to this eps and because of that I wrote "SHISHA O SHINIKAESE!!" twice on twitter.
In the last eps, Kazami had gone mad and kill some students in order to send the dead back to death and stop the calamity. Due to the fire and thunder, the building exploded and some part of the building collapsed and killed some students. The most epic scene in this eps is when Izumi tried to kill Misaki with an iron stick. Of course, Sakakibara tried to protect Misaki. Suddenly, "JEDIERRRRR!!", lightning striked the building and broke the window glass. At first, I thought the lightning will be conducted to the iron stick held by Izumi and then she will die because of this. But, nope, it's not like that. Some pieces of broken glass pierced her body. She died in an epic pose in front of Misaki and Sakakibara. Tragic end for Izumi.
After that, Misaki went to the back of building. Sakakibara chased her. Behind the building, Misaki was going to execute the dead. So, who is the dead? Shisha wa dare? The dead, the extra person who shouldn't exist, is Mikami-sensei a.k.a Sakakibara's aunt, Reiko [What?! I didn't realize that Mikami-sensei and Reiko is the same person. Doushite Rei-chan, doushite?]. Of course, Sakakibara shocked and can't believe it. Then, Misaki told him that Mikami Reiko died a year and a half year ago. She witnessed when Reiko was being stabbed, killed by random man. After that, the recollection scene of Sakakibara's memories about Reiko. In the end, Sakakibara himself killed the dead, Mikami Reiko, and send her back to death. Finally, the calamity stopped. No one remember about Mikami Reiko except Misaki and Sakakibara. Misaki and Sakakibara live happily ever after, lol.
Overall, I can give 8.5/10 point to Another. Another is a combination of horror story, beautiful art from PA Works, beautiful original characters illustration from Noizi Itou, bloody and sadistical death scenes, quiet shocking but very good sound effect, and what else? What's more, I like Misaki Mei. Even last week, when I slept, I dream about hugging Misaki and patting her head, lol. What the hell is this dream? Ah, zannen da ga, no Misaki Mei again starting next week.
So, Another is the best anime winter 2012? I don't think so. I can't decide which anime is the best for winter 2012.
